We'll take you on a 7km River tour in the stunning Peak District!
We'll paddle through crystal clear waters, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife. It's the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, this tour is suitable for all levels.
But what craft is best for me, a Canoe or Kayak?
Canoeing
To embark on your canoeing adventure, you'll need a partner to paddle tandem with you. Our 16ft Venture Canoes are the ideal vessel for building your confidence and skills as you navigate downstream. These sturdy canoes offer a stable platform, allowing you to cover a lot of distance quickly and track in a straight line. While they may be faster than our kayaks, they do require a bit more balance and there's always a chance of capsizing especially when tackling the Grade 2 rapids towards the end of the journey. But fear not, our expert instructors will be on hand to assist with any rescues and get you back on course.
Kayaking
Experience the ultimate solo paddling adventure with our NRS Outlaw kayaks. These inflatable kayaks are built to withstand any challenge, providing you with complete control over steering and navigating your way downstream. Perfect for the gentle sections of the tour but come alive when tackling the Grade 2 sections of white water toward the end of the journey.
The Outlaws are highly manoeuvrable and incredibly robust.
Designed with a wide base, these kayaks offer excellent stability, making them perfect for beginners and seasoned kayakers alike. The self-bailing feature ensures that any water that splashes over the side is quickly drained away through the drainage holes along the bottom edges of the kayak.
