HEATH & SAFETY POLICY
We take the health and safety of our staff and customers very seriously.
All of the activities managed by Rapid Horizons Ltd have been risk assessed and are run in accordance with national governing body (British Canoeing) guidelines.
It is important to understand that outdoor adventure activities can be hazardous, care and caution should be exercised at all times. Participants should be aware of the risks involved and accept responsibility for their own actions whilst taking part in adventure activities during their time Rapid Horizons Ltd
All instructors including, guides, coaches and leaders hold the relevant qualifications to lead the relevant activities. Where a qualification doesn't exist, in house training and assessment has taken place with guidance from a Technical Advisor.
It is important to understand that whilst Rapid Horizons Ltd will endeavour to deliver any activity booked, Rapid Horizons Ltd holds the right to suspend or cancel at last minute any activity that is deemed to be unsafe to operate. In this case Rapid Horizons Ltd will look to reschedule any trip that is suspended due to safety reasons.
All clients must wear Rapid Horizons Ltd safety equipment whilst taking part in activities.
Customers with existing medical conditions must bring their medication with them whilst on activity and must make their instructor or guide aware of any existing conditions.
We take Coronavirus very seriously and have enforced certain measure to ensure we keep every customer and staff member as safe as possible.
Some of these measures include the following;
Limiting participant numbers to ensure social distancing guidelines can be followed by all customers and instructors.
Staggered start times of activities to avoid large gatherings.
All equipment is cleaned with antibacterial solution prior to being issued to customers.
Face coverings can be worn if using the shuttle bus.
All of our activities take place outside and can be enjoyed whilst socially distancing.
