Please meet at the time and location stated on your booking confirmation email.

The meet point is at Artists Corner car park in Matlock.

If your booking is taking place in the the afternoon please allow time for parking, the car park can become very busy on sunny weekends and during the holiday period.

From here we will transport you upstream to the start of your journey.
The car park is pay & display and has a height barrier of 2.28m.

We supply all your technical equipment, this includes;

Canoes / Kayaks / Tubes / Rafts.
Buoyancy aids.
Waterproof top & bottoms.

Your Kit List
We recommend you bring the following, the items in red are essential;

Trainers or water shoes (shoes will get wet).
Medication for any existing medical conditions that may affect you whilst taking part in your activity.
Comfortable clothes to wear under your waterproofs, these should reflect the weather conditions on the day, no jeans.
Bottle of water on warm days.

Face covering.
Sun cream on warm days.

Spare clothes for changing into after your activity.

Towel for changing.
Antibacterial hand gel.

Cold Weather Conditions
We run activities all year round so if your booking falls during the winter months please consider the following.
We will be providing you with a waterproof top and over trousers, buoyancy aid and helmet. You are more than welcome to bring a pair of gloves and a hat to wear under your helmet.
We recommend you wear close fitting thermals as base layers.
You will need a pair of trainers that you don't mind getting wet and muddy.


Time Scales
Please allow up to 3 hours from start to finish, (2 hours for Tubing)
Please be aware that river levels fluctuate on a regular basis and may impact the amount of time spent on the water.
We may decide to change the location of the start and end point to ensure we can make the most of the water and weather conditions.


We have put safeguards in place to ensure social distancing can be observed at all times by the participants and instructors.
Our equipment is washed after every session and is sprayed with antibacterial spray prior to being issued.
Your instructor will deliver the safety briefing from a safe distance and will ensure you have understood all the necessary points before taking to the water.

Under 18s

If you have any members of your group that are under the age of 18 and are not being accompanied during the activity by a parent or legal guardian you must fill in a young persons consent form prior to the activity taking place.
